Layout is essentially complete, and modern visual styling arrives
This release finishes the layout engine and makes modern visual design render faithfully. On layout, every major piece a real site needs is now in and checked element by element against the reference browser across a suite that grew to 171 cases and passes in full: exact table borders, CSS subgrid, vertical writing modes for languages like Japanese and Chinese, and multi-column text that flows line by line into balanced columns. Just as important, the engine now proves things about its own layout that the reference browser does not: vertical text is built as a mirror of horizontal text so the two can never silently disagree, columns divide their space with no hairline gap where the reference browser leaves one, and deeply nested percentage widths add up exactly instead of drifting. On the visual side, the flashy parts of the modern web now work: gradient-filled headings, frosted-glass panels, the full set of blend modes, striped and repeating gradients, and circular avatars with a gradient and a ring - all verified against the reference browser on real components, where a sample profile card and settings form now render pixel-close. Three-dimensional card tilts and a handful of exotic effects are the remaining visual gap.
