Video that plays the whole way through, smoothly
The last two releases gave Floati its own media stack and taught it to stream. This one is about video actually PLAYING well. A longer clip now runs all the way to its end instead of stopping partway through; the picture keeps moving without a stutter every few seconds; the time on the control bar matches the clip's real length; and the sound lasts as long as the picture does. There are also two fixes to the from-scratch engine's own view. A page opened in the engine now sits correctly beside the sidebar instead of hiding its left edge underneath it, so headings and content are no longer clipped. And if the engine ever takes too long to render a page, it now hands the page to the standard renderer and shows it, rather than leaving you watching a spinner with no way out. None of this changes what plays: royalty-free video and audio still decode in Floati's own code, and the patent-encumbered formats inside most .mp4 files still go to your operating system's decoder. It just plays them properly now, start to finish.
