Now it also spots the audio version of that tracking trick
The last release taught the browser to notice when a page tries to fingerprint you by secretly reading back a drawing. There is a second, sneakier version of the same idea that uses sound instead of pictures: a hidden script plays a tone through the audio system, captures the result, and uses the tiny differences in how each device processes it as an identifier. The browser now spots that one too. And it is beaten the same way - Floati processes the sound identically for everyone, so the result is the same for every user and points to no one - but now you can see when a page reaches for it. Between this and the last release, the two most common fingerprinting tricks are both caught and both neutralized.
