Navigation bars get their spacing back
A sweep of real sites turned up the same thing in three places: navigation and breadcrumb links rendering jammed together. On a news site and a code-hosting site the top navigation read "HomeNewsFootballSport" with no gaps, because a link's own left/right padding was being left out of the space its list item reserved. On a developer-docs site the breadcrumb ("Web > CSS > Reference > display") had no separators at all: the little chevron between crumbs is drawn by an empty decorative element, and the engine was skipping empty decorative elements entirely. Both are fixed, plus the engine now understands the modern "logical" spacing properties (margin-inline, padding-block, and friends) that most current design systems use. Navigation bars, breadcrumbs, and button rows across the web now keep the spacing their designers intended.
