HTTP/3 is on, and it is ours: the fastest web protocol, built from scratch
Floati now speaks HTTP/3, the newest and fastest way browsers talk to the web, and it is an implementation we wrote from the ground up rather than borrowed. HTTP/3 is what most helps pages load on flaky wifi and mobile connections, where the older protocol stalls whenever a single packet is lost. Turning it on safely was the hard part: on networks that quietly block it (some offices, hotels and mobile carriers) Floati notices within about a second, drops back to the older protocol, and then stops trying the blocked path across the whole network, so you never wait. All of that detection happens on your device, with no extra traffic and nothing written to disk. Everything from the last release stays on too: the site name hidden from your network, cross-site cookie tracking shut down, and every certificate checked against the public record on your own machine.
