Math formulas, and pages that refused to load
A sweep of real sites turned up three very different problems, now all fixed. Encyclopedia math was the big one: formulas like the Pythagorean theorem rendered as a single black smudge, because the little images a large encyclopedia uses for equations position every letter with a transform (a move, a flip, a shrink), and Floati's SVG drawer was ignoring transforms entirely. It now honors them, so equations render properly, letter by letter. Second, some sites came back as a screenful of random characters: they compress their pages with gzip even when we ask for uncompressed, and Floati was drawing the compressed bytes as text. It now decompresses them, so a programming-language site and similar sites load. Third, a few sites rendered their body text five to seven times too large: a size written as "1.5em" was being re-multiplied at every level of nesting instead of once. Text now sizes the way every browser sizes it.
