Open a QR code's link without a phone, and pages that reveal themselves on load now show up
A new on-device convenience and a wave of rendering fidelity, all without leaving your machine. When a page shows a QR code, you can now point at it and open its link in a new tab: the browser reads the code itself, on your device, so you never reach for a phone to scan a screen you are already looking at. Nothing about the code leaves your computer. Alongside that, a whole class of modern sites that fade or slide their opening section into view as the page loads no longer come up blank - those entrance animations now play through and settle the way they were designed to. Graphics a page sizes loosely fill the space they should instead of shrinking to a dot, and centred content columns and panels placed in a specific grid column now line up where their authors put them. The overall platform score stays at 70; real-world site compatibility moves 97 to 98.
