Centred icons, missing menu icons, and a grey smudge - all fixed

Three visual fixes for busy pages. A small icon meant to sit in the middle of a search box now does, instead of poking out the top. Little menu icons that were showing up as solid black squares on sites like a developer-docs site now show their real shape. And a soft fade-out edge no longer turns into a grey smudge - fades to see-through stay clean.

What changed 3 changes

Rendering	A small icon set to sit centred inside a field or button (like the magnifying glass in a search box) now sits in the middle, instead of poking out above the top edge.
Tabs & interface	Menu and navigation icons that some sites build with a reusable style setting were coming out as solid black squares; they now show their proper icon shape.
Web APIs & DOM	A soft fade-out edge (used for gentle shadows and scroll fades) no longer paints a grey smudge - anything fading to see-through now fades cleanly.
