Timing Shield and a cleaner device surface
Two more on-device privacy hardenings. The browser's high-resolution clock is now deliberately coarsened, the same protection other browsers apply, so a page cannot use precise timing to attack your device or to tell it apart from anyone else's by its tiny clock differences. Animations and ordinary timing keep working. And the list of installed browser plugins, long used to help identify you, is now empty and identical for every user, so it gives nothing away, while pages that read it no longer break. Everything runs on your device. The security architecture aspect moves 46 to 48; the overall platform score stays at 70.
