An honest block count, and font fingerprinting defeated
Two on-device privacy improvements you can see. The tracker-block count is now honest on every platform. Blocks made in ordinary web pages are counted and kept with the site each one came from, so the number is a record you can open rather than one you take on faith - and it no longer reads zero on a Mac, where those blocks used to go uncounted. And Floati now defeats and surfaces font fingerprinting: a page that measures many fonts to work out which ones you have installed learns nothing, because every measurement comes back the same whatever fonts you have, and the attempt is shown to you in the shield. Everything is decided and kept on your device. The security architecture aspect moves 57 to 59; the overall platform score stays at 70.
