See when a page tries to fingerprint you (and know it failed)
One of the sneakiest ways sites track you is 'canvas fingerprinting': a hidden script quietly draws a picture off-screen and reads it back, and the tiny differences in how each computer draws it become a near-unique id that follows you around, no cookies needed. Floati already shuts this down - it hands every page the exact same blank result, so every Floati user looks identical and the trick learns nothing. What is new here is that the browser now notices and tells you when a page tried it, so you can see which sites are attempting to fingerprint you even though it did not work. A page that never does this shows nothing; a page that probes your canvas is named for it. It is the same honest theme as this release's other tools - showing you what a page is really doing behind the scenes.
