Columns line up, and Floati reads more closely
This release came out of putting Floati side by side with the reference browser on real pages and fixing what did not match. The biggest win is column layouts. Many sites arrange their footers and sections into columns using an older CSS technique (floats with percentage widths); Floati was collapsing those columns down to the width of their text, so a tidy four-column footer became a narrow, stacked mess. That is fixed, and a programming-language site now lays out its footer exactly as the reference browser does. The modern shorthand for multi-column text is fixed too, so reference lists and link columns flow properly. And on the memory side, asking a question about your reading now favors the distinctive words in your question over common ones, so the answer it pulls out is more often the one you actually wanted.
